Samson Demeke is a dedicated lecturer in the Department of Information Systems at Mizan Tepi University, where he has been shaping minds for several years. He holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Gondar. As the founder and CEO of Edget ICT Solution P.L.C., Samson leads a dynamic team in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, specializing in the development of systems and mobile, web, and desktop applications. Under his leadership, the company employs over 25 youths and is currently implementing an e-ticketing system in the Assosa and Gilgel Beles bus stations.

Samson’s commitment to technology and innovation extends beyond his company. He serves as the Program Manager for the South West Charitable Organization, a local non-profit dedicated to community development in Bonga town. Additionally, he is a board member of the U.S. Exchange Alumni Association. A 2022 TechCamp Addis alumnus, Samson is passionate about leveraging technology for societal impact.
